HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!! I think this is a record cold for this day, the high of -1degree!!! It's currently snowing, I don't believe that we are supposed to get too much this time, but the extreme cold has not allowed for much of what we already have to melt! What a COLD couple of weeks we have had, I believe that it may actually get up to freezing by the end of this week at 32 degrees!! I hope that you all are safe and warm and staying healthy, this is not the time to get sick.
After a lot of experimenting and finally giving into the pros we have our 2021 Variety List posted in the gallery section. I am NOT a computer person so it took awhile to get it posted! I know that we are all looking forward to warmer weather and I am quite certain that it will come none too soon; so this is the time to snuggle down and plan what to put in your garden and flower beds this Spring. We will be busy in the next few months getting everything ready; seeding, transplanting, potting up and getting into high gear for April!! As usual we will have your early gardening needs ready around the middle of March; seed potatoes, onion sets and plants, seeds, strawberry starts, asparagus roots, etc. I always try to discourage planting tooooo early to avoid disappointment if we get a really hard freeze late. The way this year has started out it's hard to say what normal is anymore!!
I will try to remember to post some pictures of the greenhouses as we get heavier into planting time, it gets so busy around here that I don't always think of taking pictures, maybe Curtis will! Praying that you all stay safe and well and looking forward to seeing you in a month or two!!
